Product description – ID-DUO
The BEARFIX® ID-DUO internally threaded bimetallic stud is designed for drawn arc stud welding with ceramic ferrule. It combines a weldable steel 4.8 tip with a stainless steel body and internally threaded section.
The internal thread allows components to be bolted to the stud after welding without an external thread projecting from the surface. This is ideal where a clean, flat fastening point or limited lateral clearance is required.
The aluminium ball at the steel welding tip helps provide stable ignition. The supplied ceramic ferrule protects the weld pool and helps create a uniform, high-quality joint.
