Product description – ID internally threaded stud
The BEARFIX® ID internally threaded stud is designed for drawn arc stud welding with ceramic ferrule and provides an internally threaded fastening point without an external threaded projection.
Unlike externally threaded studs, the ID type allows a component to be bolted into the welded stud after installation. This is especially useful where a clean surface or limited lateral space is required.
An optimised welding tip with aluminium ball helps ensure stable ignition and a uniform weld. The supplied ceramic ferrule protects the weld pool during the process.
