SD1 shear connector stud description
The BEARFIX® SD1 shear connector stud is specifically designed for drawn arc stud welding with ceramic ferrule, providing high-strength structural joints in steel construction, bridges, industrial buildings and façades.
Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13918, these studs feature optimised geometry and controlled material (S235J2+C450), helping to achieve a uniform, pore-free weld with full load transfer.
The supplied ceramic ferrule protects the weld pool during the process, concentrating the heat and preventing oxidation, resulting in clean and strong welds.
