The type IS internally threaded stud is designed specifically for short-cycle welding (SC). It creates a permanent threaded fastening point on sheet metal without drilling or access to the reverse side of the component.
It is ideal for applications requiring a subsequent threaded connection, such as fastening components, brackets, housings or decorative elements to thin and medium-gauge sheet metal.

- Copper-plated grade 4.8 steel (4–8 µm electrolytic copper finish)
- A2-50 stainless steel
